I only listened to the Alpha part cause I seriously can't fit more into today's schedule between work and whatnot.
The creativity and range of this record are absolutely immense and remind me a bit of uneXpect. Obviously without a female voice, duh.
While two interludes seem a little much to me, it still fits the record pretty well. What got me the most in every song was that outrageous vocal performance. Simply outstanding. Spencer's voice is just as chilling live as it is on record. What a voice.
To go from creatively overwhelming songs such as MK Ultra, to more a more 'mainstream' setting as in Alpha isn't something just anybody can do. But through the story that is being told as it is, stretched across this double-record, it works perfectly with each other.
